7.6 mln tons of oil transported via main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan during January-February

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-February, 2012, 7.6 mln tons of oil was transported via main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan, down 5% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, 77.1% transportation was realized via Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline and made 5.9 mln tons, down 3.3% from 2011. 644.9 thousand tons of Turkmen oil was transported via BTJ pipeline.

At the same time, 4 bcm of gas was transported via mina gas pipeline during the same period, up 14.3% in comparison to a year earlier. 1/5 part of transported gas was implemented via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline and made 862.6 mln cubic meters, up 13.4% from year earlier.
