Azerbaijan attends 13th International Energy Forum and V International Energy Business-Forum in Kuwait

Baku. Anakhanum Hidoyatova - APA-Economics. The 13th International Energy Forum has kicked off in Kuwait with the participation of more than 80 countries and the presence of more 45 ministers of oil to discuss the latest world energy issues.

Azerbaijani embassy in Kuwait told APA that Azerbaijan will be represented at the event, which will last today, by the Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev.
Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad al-Rumhi, Oil and Gas Minister of Oman read Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyevâ€™s letter, addressed to event participants.

Within framework of the event N.Aliyev met with Kuwait EmirSheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al Jabir al-Sabah and Heir Apparent Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Jabir al-Sabah. Moreover, he held meetings with EU energy commissioner GÃ¼nther Oettinger, OPEC Secretary General Abdullah al-Badri, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Taner Yildiz, as well as compatriots from Italy, Bulgaria, Switzerland, France, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Kuwait.

Thereupon, N.Aliyev gave interview to the state television of Kuwait, Bloomberg TV channel, Reuters and Argus agencies.
