Aktyubinsk province intends to involve investors from Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Kazakhstan’s Aktyubinsk province intends to involve Azerbaijani investors to construct industrial institutions, said the Governor of Province Arkhimed Mukhambetov.

According to him, the area of this province is 30,600 km², population – 785,000. Main natural resources of the province are mining industry. Leading sphere of economy is agriculture.

“We discussed agricultural issues with Azerbaijani side. We interest in import of fruit-vegetable from Azerbaijan. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Aktyubinsk province makes $40 mln. Azerbaijan is the third partner of Aktyubinsk province after Russia and Ukraine.

He also noted that, the province need investors from Azerbaijan to implement 20 projects.
