Ukrainian ambassador: â€œAgreement on establishment of a joint Azerbaijani-Ukrainian enterprise for supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is under discussionâ€

He rejected the information posted on some media on signing of agreement in Davos.

â€œIn the first half of this year, Kiev will host meeting of Azerbaijan-Ukraine intergovernmental commission. The exact date is being coordinated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both countriesâ€, he noted.

Mishenko said that Ukraine was interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in the development of tourism: â€œUkrainian businessmen consider Azerbaijani market as an investment. This year promises to be very rich, rewarding and above all effective. All these issues will be discussed at a meeting of the intergovernmental commissionâ€.

Remind that, on January 28, last year, Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine Ilham Aliyev and Viktor Yanukovych signed an intergovernmental memorandum on cooperation in organizing the supply of liquefied natural gas to Ukraine, as well as an agreement on measures to promote cooperation in the field of oil transportation through Ukrainian territory.
