SOCAR President says illegal buildings will not be destroyed in Keshla settlement

Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev has today met with owners of illegal houses in Keshla settlement.

“SOCAR receives loans from abroad during implementation of investment projects. The activity of SOCAR is investigated during this process by those foreign countries. One of the main issues here is connected with organization of safe works”, said Abdullayev.

To him, international organizations consider all issues while giving a rating to any company: “Moreover, existence of illegal buildings in the territories belonging to SOCAR, their impact on production process and the level of danger are also being taken into account”.

“That is why, while laying a claim in relation to destruction of illegal buildings, SOCAR underlines that the company will not bear responsibility for any possible accidents in future. That is, we try to prove beforehand that the illegality of such buildings have been confirmed by the court”, added SOCAR President.

Abdullayev reminded that, illegal buildings were dangerous for resident: “Don’t forget, this area may be problem for future of your children due to radiation. These houses will not be destroyed. But if there is any problem, you will be responsible for it. If it needs, SOCAR may give another land to destroy the illegal houses. We don’t intend to destroy houses”.

SOCAR guidance called the owners of building to sue the organizations giving them false documents.
