Azerbaijan and Ukraine to sign agreement on creation of a joint venture for supplies of liquefied gas

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva - APA-Economics. During the economic forum in Davos on 25-26 January, Ukraine and Azerbaijan will sign an agreement on creation of a joint venture for supplies of liquefied gas for the future Ukrainian LNG-terminal.
APA reports citing Ukrainian media that the statement came from the chief of the State Agency for Management of National Projects Vladislav Kaskiv in Kiev.
He said agreements on supplies of liquefied gas to the Ukrainian terminal with other market participants. According to Kaskiv, the agreement with Azerbaijan envisages supplies of 2bn cubic meters of gas in 2014 and 5bn cubic meters in 2015.
As reported earlier, in late January Spanish Socoin is to complete development of the feasibility of the construction of the LNG terminal on the Ukrainian Black Sea shore.
According to Kaskiv, the estimated cost of the facility construction is $1bn, the projected capacity of the terminal will make 10bn cubic meters of gas a year. The object construction will be divided into two queers.
