Azerbaijan increases oil production

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has increased oil production by 1.1% in January-November, 2011.

State Statistical Committee says 1.2 mln tons of gasoline, 565,500 tons of kerosene, 2.3 mln tons of diesel fuel were produced, lubricating oil increased by 8.7%, petroleum bitumen – by 8.5% and initial oil processing – by 9.8% during the same period: “AZN 40.9 mln-finished products remained in the storages of oil processing plants”.

In addition, as of December 1, 2011, the main consumers had 265,000 tons of heavy oil, 19,000 tons of gasoline, 15,200 tons of diesel fuel, 7,800 tons of kerosene, 1,700 tons of liquid gas, 1,800 tons of lubricating oils and 7,200 tons of hard coal.
