“In this regard, there is demand for additional investments in pipeline. But for now, neither the amount of this investment, nor pipeline has been specified. In general, it is not known whether the pipeline will be reconstructed or not”, said Aliyev.

SOCAR official noted that according to gas agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey on October 25, it is considered to launch new gas pipe (Trans Anadolu Pipeline TANAP) via the territory of Turkey: “The output capability of this pipeline will make 21 bcm. Along with Shah Deniz – 2 gas, other fields’ gas also will be transported via this pipeline. Initially, owners of pipeline will be Azerbaijan and Turkey, thereafter other organizations can enter this project”.

V. Aliyev says establishment and researches of company is planned to complete in June-July, 2012: “We don’t lose time, because of Shah Deniz – 2 will be put into operation in 2017. TANAP also is planned to launch in 2017. This pipeline is expected to spend $ 6-7 bln”.

He also noted that, there were unsolved problems in Nabucco Project. Noting considering of three projects Aliyev did not answer unambiguously to the question on more realization of selection of these projects: “We‘ll determine more useful project”.
