Azerbaijan increases oil production

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has increased oil production by 2.5% in January-October, 2011.

State Statistical Committee says 1.1 mln tonnes of gasoline, 523,200 tonnes of kerosene, 2.1 mln tonnes of diesel fuel were produced, lubricating oil increased by 13.8%, petroleum bitumen â€“ by 7.6% and initial oil processing â€“ by 4.4% during the same period: â€œAZN 54.1 mln-finished products remained in the storages of oil processing plantsâ€.

Note that, as of October 1, 2011, the main consumers had 260,000 tonnes of heavy oil, 18,900 tonnes of gasoline, 20,000 tonnes of diesel fuel, 14,100 tonnes of kerosene, 1,900 tonnes of liquid gas, 1,700 tonnes of lubricating oils and 8,100 tonnes of hard coal.
