Transportations via Baku-Jeyhan and Baku-Erzurum pipeline decreased

Baku. Nijat Mustafyev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-October, Azerbaijan has transported 39.1 mln tons of oil via main pipelines, down 6.2% from year earlier.

State Statistical Committee says, 76.1% of transportation was carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan and 29.7 mln tons of oil was transported via this pipeline during the same period, down 7.2% from 2010.

Besides, 1.7 mln tons of Turkmenistan oil was transported through Sangachal terminal during the accounting period, up 97.5% from previous year.

At the same time, 15 bcm of gas was transported via main gas pipeline during January-October, 2011, up 3.6% compared to 2010. Â¼ part of gas transportation was carried out via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus pipeline and made 3.7 bcm, down 16% from year earlier.
