Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The quality of petrol produced in Azerbaijan is not bad, chairman of the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents Ramiz Hasanov said.

To him, there is one oil-refining plant in Azerbaijan and the petrol sold at all filling stations of the country is produced at this plant.

Touching upon dissatisfactions connected with the quality of petrol, committee chairman noted that it did not related to the petrol sold at filling stations belonging to big companies: “Especially, in the regions, the petrol is mixed depending on price of petrol and dissatisfactions are occurred because of it”.

Hasanov said that the committee would start monitorings in connection with gas furnaces of Iranian production: “These furnaces, which do not correspond the standards, are brought to country by smuggling. Because big companies know the standards applied in the country in relation to it”.
