“Armenia was obliged to sign capitulation act on November 10,” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said in his speech at the Victory Parade in Baku's Azadliq (Freedom) Square today, APA reports.
Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces noted that according to this capitulation act, Kalbajar, Lachin and Aghdam regions was returned to Azerbaijan without firing a single shot, the Azerbaijani flag was raised there: “It shows that we have won the battle both in the battlefield and on the political arena. However, many, especially the mediators dealing with this issue, have repeatedly said that there is no military solution to the conflict. But, we have proved that there is a military solution to the conflict.”
