Mazahir Panahov said that all political parties have been invited to the debates.
“It is their own business whether they will participate in the event or not. We appeal to the international and Azerbaijani community that there will be open discussions. Those who wish may participate. I do not want to say anything about them. This is their right,” he said.
Noting that the debates will start on November 7, Mazahir Panahov said representatives of different bodies, political parties and European organizations will participate there. CEC chief noted that considering the appeals received by election commissions and proposals on re-formation of the composition of election commissions will be debated at the meeting.
“Some forces raise the issue on the composition of elections commissions and try to create atmosphere as if some avoid these debates and try to exclude this issue from the agenda. But we will debate this issue along with those who voice this proposal,” he said.
As to the formation about the commissions from five parties Mazahir Panahov said there are a lot of proposals.
“The aim of the debates is to put all the proposals on the table, discuss the most rational one and adopt it,” he said. /APA/
