Vice- president of Iran meets with heads of youth organizations in Azerbaijan

Hojatoleslam Ali Akbari, vice-president of Islamic Republic of Iran, head of National Youth Organization met with a group of heads of youth organizations in the headquarters of Ireli Youth Movement, APA reports.
Jeyhun Osmanli, co-chair of Ireli Youth Movement gave information about policy of Azerbaijani youth. He stressed that several events should be held to establish cooperation with Iranian youth. He invited a group of Iranian youth representatives to Azerbaijan in summer next year.
Mr. Akbari is also interested in developing relations on the level of youth organizations.
â€œThere are many youth speaking Azeri in Iran. Azeri is spoken in Tabriz, Zanjan, Ardabil and other cities and provinces. You can perfectly communicate,â€ he said
He advised Azerbaijani youth to protect national values.
â€œWe should know our cultural roots in order to fulfill our mission. Azerbaijani youth should know their roles in establishing of new state,â€ he said. Giving information about Iranian youth Mr. Akbari stated that there are 25 million youth in his country.3,5 million of them are studying at higher schools. Mr. Akbari noted that there are more 10,000 youth organizations in Iran and these organizations function free./APA/
