Sabir Rustamkhanly: Swiss government agencies demand tax report from Javad Derekhti

“Though more than three months passed since the congress in Köln on July 7-8, the congress has already been paralyzed. Though chairman of the World Azerbaijanis’ Congress Gulamrza Sebri Tebrizi was several times informed about the shortcomings, the chairman only threatened with dismissal,” he said.
The statement also demands calling an extraordinary meeting of the World Azerbaijanis’ Congress.
“Though more than three months passed, the protocol of the congress is not ready. This may cause problem in Switzerland, where World Azerbaijanis’ Congress was registered. We demand Gulamrza Sebri Tebrizi’s resignation and want the congress to be managed by a three-man co-chairmanship institution from Azerbaijan, Europe and Russia,” the statement says.
First Deputy Chairman of the World Azerbaijanis’ Congress Sabir Rustamkhanly called this groundless and biased.
“Divergence among the members from Europe and Azerbaijan appeared after the ninth meeting of the World Azerbaijanis’ Congress. Javad Derekhti wanted to be chairman, but did not roll up enough votes and was not elected. It seems he still thinks of chairmanship. The reports on the protocol are groundless. The protocol of the congress was submitted to Swiss law-enforcement bodies and they registered World Azerbaijanis’ Congress. But they demand tax report from Javad Derekhti. And he demands the protocol for his personal interests. They are arguing instead of working,” he said,
Sabir Rustamkhanly regards the statement of seven members of the Management Board as disrespect towards World Azerbaijanis’ Congress. /APA/
