ANIP Goranboy region organization rebels against party leadership

Maharramov said they presented six demands to the party leadership. The demands are, urgent meeting of the partyâ€™s Central Council, ANIP leadershipâ€™s strengthening efforts for formation of election commissions on parity basis and preparing special proposals, restoration of Millet (Nation) newspaperâ€™s publication, Etibar Mammadovâ€™s return, holding actions to get office in order to restore the partyâ€™s normal activity and preparing all structures for elections.
â€œWe demand establishing the partyâ€™s structures in line with the new season. Unfortunately, the party leadership does not prepare ANIP for the new season. Etibar Mammadov does not interfere with the socio-political processes after resignation. After the leadership became younger, we thought that ANIP will prepare for the new season in line with new rules. But it did not happen, our patience is exhausted and we protested,â€ he said.
Fagani Maharramov said that this action is not against Etibar Mammadov.
â€œWe consider Etibar Mammadovâ€™s returning to leadership important,â€ he said.
ANIPâ€™s spokesman Ali Orujov told the APA they got acquainted with the demands of region organizations, but said that these demands are useless.
Mr. Orujov saying that they took concrete measures in this direction accused region organization of following activity of party leadership.
â€œOn the other hand, there are several issues they are not only solved on the will of ANIP. We held protest actions regarding headquarters for several times, but achieved no result, because government should provide Party with headquarters. Publication of â€œMilletâ€ (Nation) newspaper is linked with financial problem,â€ he said.
Mr. Orujov saying that meeting of Central Council is delayed and it is linked with place problem stated that region organization regards that this action is irrelevant.
â€œWe respect any demand, request of region organizations. This issue will probably be debated. But regard that there is no need to initiate such demand and consider it along with leadership. It is our work,â€ he said. /APA/
