Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov received Kazakh ambassador to Azerbaijan Andar Shukputov due to his tenure expire today, Foreign Ministry’s press service told the APA.
The sides sated that several successes were achieved during Shukputov’s 5 year-tenure in Azerbaijan and they highly appreciated the development of mutual relations. Kazakhstan’s joining to regional transport projects within this period was regarded estimable, the development of cooperation in all spheres, mutual visits, agreement on military cooperation, increase of trade turnover and construction of terminals in agriculture. They touched upon Tehran summit and stated that the positions of two sides on defining Caspian status coincide./APA/
