Mehriban Aliyeva makes speech in the opening of BiblioObraz â€“ 2007 festival

Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation also participates in the festival.
First lady of Azerbaijan made a speech at the opening of the festival. Azerbaijani delegation will participate in several events in the framework of the festival. Heydar Aliyev Foundation again published the works by Azerbaijani classics Nizami, Mahsati Ganjavi, Mirza Shafi Vazeh, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, Samad Vurgun and Mir Jalal, which were translated into Russia, and made DVD and CDs on our national culture for the festival.
â€œDiary without dateâ€ by Azerbaijani writer Kamal Abdulla, â€œKostya+Nikaâ€ by Russian writer Tamara Kryukova and â€œOrphan with parentsâ€ by Bulgarian writer Georgy Mishev have been included into the collection.
After the presentation of the collection, First Ladies will have a roundtable in Kremlin and a conference on â€œTeenager and modern society: law and responsibilityâ€ will be held the next day.
Workshops on preparing illustrations for childrenâ€™s books and dolls for school theaters will be conducted with presence of Azerbaijani artists Nusrat Hajiyev and Elmira Abbali.
Short film â€œFriendâ€ will be displayed and there will be a meeting with producer of the film Lala Akhundova.
Pantomime Theater will stage a performance basing on Azerbaijani tale â€œMalikmammadâ€ in â€œBook theater studioâ€.
Writer Chingiz Abdullayev is expected to have meeting with senior pupils, teachers and librarians. /APA/
