Heads of 80 states and governments, as well as Foreign Ministers will participate in the discussions.
Elmar Mammadyarov is planned to make a speech on September 27. The minister will also have several bilateral meetings.
The fourth meeting of GUAM Council of Foreign Ministers will be held in the framework of the session that day.
GUAM-US and GUAM-Poland talks are also planned to be held in New York.
Two issues related to Azerbaijan have been included into the agenda of the 62nd session. The issue on protracted conflicts in GUAM and their influence on international peace, security and development has been included into the 16th clause of the agenda and the issue on the situation in the occupied Azerbaijani territories into the 20th clause.
These issues will possibly be debated within a year. /APA/
