NATO PA Subcommittee on Democratic Governance and representatives of Azerbaijani civil society meet

NATO Parliamentary Assembly Subcommittee on Democratic Governance and representatives of Azerbaijani civil society had a meeting today in Euro-Atlantic Center, APA reports.
Acting chairman of Euro-Atlantic Center Ramin Isayev opening the meeting gave brief information about establishment of Euro-Atlantic Center, its dimensions, targets and duties, features of public diplomacy of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
Head of the delegation Chatin Kozak said they highly appreciate Azerbaijanâ€™s intention to be a modern European country. He said the information they gather during the visit will be reflected in the report on Azerbaijan. Foreign visitors and representatives of Azerbaijani civil society especially underlined that Nagorno Karabakh conflict impedes integration of Azerbaijan and the entire South Caucasus into Euro-Atlantic.
â€œTherefore NATO Parliamentary Assembly should contribute to the just solution of the conflict,â€ they said. /APA/
