Chief of Lithuania’s Border Service will pay the first official visit to Azerbaijan on September 24, Lithuanian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Kyastutis Kudzmanas told APA.
The ambassador said that the visit was coordinated during President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Vilnius. Chief of Lithuanian Border Service will have debates with his Azeri colleagues in Baku. Cooperation agreement on protection of state borders will be signed between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Lithuania’s Minister of Social Protection is planned to visit Azerbaijan in October and Transport Minister in November. Interstate agreement on the spheres of youth policy and transport is expected to be signed between the two countries. /APA/
