Discussions among U.S, Russian and Azerbaijani experts start in Gabala

The experts will assess the prospects of joint use of Gabala radar station by Russia and the US, prepare their proposals and present to their presidents. Heads of delegations will hold briefing for media representatives after discussions end.
Delegations composed of U.S, Russian and Azerbaijani experts are visiting Gabala radar station today. U.S. Missile Defense Agency Deputy Director, Brigadier General Patrick O’Reilly leads U.S military team in Gabala. Pentagon spokesman colonel lieutenant Phil Coyle told the APA’s U.S. bureau, senior officials of State Department are participating in the visit along with U.S. military experts.
Major General Alexander Yakushin, deputy head of Russia’s space forces leads Russian delegation. No document is planned to be signed after the meeting. The proposals that will be prepared after the visit will be debated in 2+2 meeting of Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministers of the US and Russia. /APA/
