Parties and organizations of non-Persian nations living in Iran picket outside European Parliament

The Front set up by the parties and organizations representing non-Persian nations living in Iran held a protest action outside European Parliament in the capital of Belgium, Brussels on September 10. Head of Research and Information Center of South Azerbaijan Independence Party Sadig Isabayli told APA that the aim of the picket was to draw attention to deprivation of non-Persian nations living in their historical places in Iran of their rights to education in their mother tongue. Press conference was held before the protest action with participation of foreign media representatives. Azerbaijani Turks, Turkmens, Arabs, Belujs, Lors, Kurds and other non-Persian nations participated in the picket. Secretary on international affairs of the Front Ahmad Obali was invited to the European Parliament at the end of the action and introduced the resolution. Chairman of World Azerbaijanis Congress Gulamrza Sabri Tabrizi and members of the congress also attended the picket. /APA/
