European Parliament’s delegation arrives in Baku

The delegation is composed of Marie Anne Isler, representative of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (France), second vice-president of European parliament, representative of human rights department Bropard Duka Zulomi (Slovakia), Alessandro Battilokkio (Italy) from development sector, Marina Jean Marinescu (Romania) from transport, tourism and climate change, rapporteur on international relations Lidie Polfer (Luxemburg) and Joanna Svoboda (Austria) from international affairs, security and defense department. The aim of the visit is to attend the joint meeting of European Parliament and Azerbaijani parliament on September 12.
The meeting will focus on mutual cooperation and implementation of joint projects. Besides, members of European Parliament will have meetings with NGOs on human rights. /APA/
