Meeting of CIS Interior Ministers ends in Baku

Operation called â€œSearchâ€ was conducted on March 14-16 to reveal wanted people. 172 have been revealed as a result of the searching. 6 more searched in the CIS were found in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani Interior Ministry handed 2 over to Russia.
Violation of border regime was recorded during a joint operation on Azerbaijani-Russian border on 23-28 April 2007.
Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev made a speech and underlined that President Vladimir Putin signed an executive order on the opening of representative offices of Russian Interior Ministries.
Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov said that the CIS Interior Ministersâ€™ Council has adopted more than 70 decisions during its activity. He attached importance to the joint training of personnel for Interior bodies. The participants have decided to hold the next meeting of the CIS Council of Interior Ministers in Georgia in 2008./APA/
