Framework agreement determining the rules of mutual broadcasting of TV channels between Azerbaijan and Russia has already been agreed. APA reports quoting Russian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov that the document only reflects political wills of the sides.
“No TV channel is named in the document. The issue is being debated now. Azerbaijani side presented its proposals on mutual broadcasting of TV channels to Russia in June. Some issues are considered legal in Azerbaijan, but illegal in this context in Russia. It sometimes impedes negotiations,” he said.
The ambassador said that the next meeting of the working groups on mutual broadcasting of TV channels will be held in Moscow in September. /APA/
