The establishment of military ombudsman institution is implemented according to the commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan in front of international associations. The institution will play an important role in the solution of problems of Armed Forces.
The head of Defense Ministry’s press service, lieutenant-colonel Eldar Safarov told the APA that he is not aware of the plan:†Anyways, we attach great importance to applying public control in the army and deepening democratic principles in the army. We have gained some success in this sphere. I assume the issue will be reviewed after military doctrine’s admission†said Mr. Safarov./APA/
