Amendments to the law on freedom of religion and belief are inevitable, leader of Great Creation party, parliamentarian Fazil Gazanfaroglu told the APA.
There are enough problems in religious sphere in Azerbaijan and it is impossible to regulate religious relationships by current law:†The law ensuring freedom of religion does not work properly. On the other hand, this law does not ensure people’ freedom of religion and belief. People are not able to pray freely. The law should be reviewed in order to regulate religious relationships properly†parliamentary added.
Mr.Gazanfaroglu underlined that he will raise an issue regarding this in parliament’s fall session.
Parliamentarian stressed that, he will also make proposals on the laws on Political Parties, Freedom of assembly, Education and try to achieve adoption of the law on Construction./APA/
