Ramil Usubov meets Human Rights Watch executive director

Azerbaijani Interior Minister, General Colonel Ramil Usubov received the executive director of Human Rights Watch Kenneth Roth, Interior Ministryâ€™s press service told the APA.
Mr.Usubov informed the guest about the structure and activity directions of Interior Ministry.
The Minister said that a lot of measures were taken on the implementation of democratic principles, adoption of laws, building of a society basing on the European values. He highly appraised meeting of the officials of Human Rights Watch with the opposition and government representatives.
The Interior Minister also mentioned that only negative cases have been reflected in the latest report of the organization regarding protection of human rights in the country and positive measures taken on the activity of police, journalist-police and citizen-police relations were not described in it.
Mr. Roth said that the organization he chairs is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani Interior Ministry. /APA/
