Baku to host international conference on prospects and problems of Azerbaijanâ€™s European integration

Bucharest hosted international conference dedicated to the role of civil society in the establishment of Black Sea regional security, Helsinki Citizensâ€™ Assembly told the APA.
Senior officials of European Union, European Commission, New Neighborhood Policy Program, Romanian Foreign Minister, US and European Ambassadors to Romania, heads of several foundations and research centers, representatives of Black Sea Forum states attended the conference.
Co-chair of Helsinki Citizensâ€™ Assembly Arzu Abdullayeva, chairwoman of Azerbaijan National Public Committee for Eurointegration Irada Bagirova, Eldar Namazov represented Azerbaijan at the conference. The conference attendees debated the condition of democratic reforms in the Black Sea Forum countries, condition of unsolved problems, efficiency of functioning regional initiations, prospects of cooperation between regional countriesâ€™ civil societies and European Union structures. Azerbaijani delegation reached agreement on holding international conference dedicated to the prospects and problems of Azerbaijanâ€™s integration into Europe in Baku in the framework of the two-day conference. /APA/
