Jabiyev said that the working groups will meet in the third ten-day of July. He said final draft made on the basis of the draft drawn up by the two countries at the meeting on June 8 in Moscow has been presented to Azerbaijan.
“The working group should exchange views on final decision. There are almost no vague points in the draft,†he said.
Gafar Jabiyev noted that after working out the 11-item intergovernmental agreement, another document covering technical, financial and other issues of broadcasting Russian TV channels in Azerbaijan and Azeri TV channels in Russia will be prepared.
The working groups negotiate over broadcasting of RTR-Planeta in Azerbaijan and AzTV in Russia.
ORT’s broadcasting was stopped as from July 11.
RTR-Planeta’s broadcasting has been prolonged for a month. /APA/
