The meeting attended by rights activists Saida Gojamanli, elchin Behbudov, Seadet Bananyarli, Murad Saddedinov, Ilgar Ibrahimoglu, emin Huseynli, elder Zeynalov and Sahib Mammadov focused on the situations of human rights and press freedom.
Elchin Behbudov told APA that Human Rights Watch’s executive director asked questions on the states of human rights and press freedom. The participants informed the visitor about the concerned situations.
The rights defenders reported that Human Rights Watch’s representatives will meet with heads of security agencies and also president’s executive office head Ramiz Mehdiyev in Baku. /APA/
