German government grants political asylum to Ilgar Altay

German government granted political asylum to head of Public Studies Center Ilgar Altay, APA reports. He said that he appealed for asylum in 2004 and German government sent him an official letter.
The letter says that German Federal Migration Bureau recognizes Ilgar Altayâ€™s right to immigration and asks him to fill in the application forms and deliver to the embassy. But Ilgar Altay has changed his mind. He said that socio-political situation was tense when he applied for asylum and now the situation has changed.
â€œIlham Aliyev has been president for four years, and time showed that his activity will lead Azerbaijan to stable socio-political situation, socio-economic equality and democratic development,â€ he said.
Ilgar Altay sent an official letter to German government on reusing the migration. /APA/
