BSECO summit concludes declaration

This will deepen the cooperation in a number of important spheres such as environmental protection, trade, energy, telecommunication, transport, tourism, science and technology as well as fight against terrorism and joint fields. The member states will particularly attach importance to strengthening transport and commercial relations. The declaration also says BSECO as an organization focusing on projects has decided to draft and implement agreements on trans Europe network and Eurasian transport and communication links, the Black sea bypass highway and sea ways. More strong sea connection will be provided between Black Sea states to promote their development. An agreement was achieved on drafting legal documents to simplify and equalize legislation on trade and customs procedures. It is also emphasized to intensify efforts for WTO accession of member states of BSECO.
The declaration covered strengthening activity of Council of Foreign Ministers of BSECO, establishing International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBCS), increasing cooperation between BSCEO and UN, granting European Community Commission with observer status in the organization. /APA/
