Samad Seyidov: Issue of studying Azerbaijanâ€™s experience on tolerance is on the agenda of PACE

â€œVery important debates were held on anti-Semitism subject in PACE democratic group today. You know that this issue was included to the agenda of PACEâ€™s summer session. It is positive that Azerbaijan was set as an example for other countries for its tolerant attitude towards Jewsâ€, Head of Azerbaijan Delegation to PACE, MP Samad Seyidov exclusively told APA. He said studying Azerbaijanâ€™s experience in tolerance is the order of the day.
â€œI was asked to deliver comprehensive speech on this issue before session of PACE. Jews lived in Azerbaijan for centuries and became respected community of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani parliament has Jewish MP. These factors are to be included to the agenda. Unfortunately, negative issues on Azerbaijan are always emphasized in PACE. I would very much like PACE to draw attention to positive issues,â€ the parliamentarian said. /APA/
