Cabinet to consider increasing state employeesâ€™ wage

Cabinet of Ministers is to consider issue of increasing wage of state employees. Head of the socio-political department of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told the journalists that the government approaches the issue of increasing state employeesâ€™ wage as integral part of single government policy on this issue, APA reports. Saying that in the near future all kinds of state employees of Azerbaijan will be provided with better salary and life condition Ali Hasanov said it is not advisable to increase wages in 2-3 times suddenly. He said this step will cause disbalance.â€ Today state employees receive the highest wage after court system workers. It is to be taken into consideration that there are people without state employee status who work as much as state employees. The recent three years saw significant wage increases in central and local executive organs. These are percent increasesâ€.
Ali Hasanov said the policy of increasing wages of statesâ€™ employees are being carried out within fighting corruption and bribery cases, promoting transparent activity./APA/
