Azerbaijani Defense Minister: We declared our consent to joint US-Russia use of Gabala radar

Safar Abiyev said Azerbaijan agreed to give Gabala radar station to joint use of the US and Russia. He said there is already corresponding protocol on it.
Russia and Azerbaijan signed protocol on the status of authorized persons in charge of execution of intergovernmental agreement on Gabala radar system. Russia Defense Minister Anatoli Serdyukov and Azerbaijan Defense Minister Safar Abiyev signed the agreement.
The ceremony of signing protocol was held before the meeting of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers. The content of the protocol is not made public. /APA/
