Tbilisi to host next summit of GUAM

This decision was made after debates held in Baku summit of the organization. Georgia will take chairmanship from Azerbaijan in GUAMâ€™s Tbilisi summit.
The second summit of GUAM ended with the concluding of several documents, including BAKU declaration. The heads of GUAM member-states said in briefing that the event was organized in high level and significant decisions were adopted for the further activity of GUAM.
GUAM Foreign Ministers Council asserted emblems, activity plan and budget of the organization for next year a day before the summit.
A number of meetings, debates in the format of GUAM-US, GUAM-Japan and GUAM-Poland were held during GUAM summit. Except the heads of GUAM member states, Polish President Lech Kaczynski, Romanian President Trian Basescu, Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, Bulgarian vice-president Angel Marin, and senior officials of other countries and international organizations attended the second summit of GUAM. /APA/
