Mikhail Saakashvili: Forecasts doubting durability of regional cooperation in GUAM format did not come true

â€We feel EU’s and other states’ desires for cooperating with GUAM. Latvia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, US, Japan and other states will join the summit. It is not only indicator of increasing interest for GUAM states but official collapse of forecasts on inefficiency of regional cooperation within GUAM. GUAM should pursue cautious and purposeful policyâ€. Mikhail Saakashvili said cooperation with Azerbaijan is of great importance for Georgia. According to him, Azerbaijan supplies Georgia’s demand for gas. Ministers of Industry and Energy of two countries are holding negotiations over exporting gas from Azerbaijan to Georgia./APA/
