US supports territorial integrity of GUAM states

The US said it is ready to provide financial assistance for newly established GUAM secretariat. The negotiations expressed satisfaction with reaching agreement on Virtual Center of the organization and also the law enforcement bodies and the framework program on transport projects.
GUAM-US talks covered continuation of joint cooperation in the fight against terrorism, development of Europe-Asia Transcaspian relations as well as ensure of energy security through diversification of energy resources and preparation for infrastructure and democratic norms for oil and gas transportation.
The press release says the meeting agreed to hold meeting of GUAM national coordinators with the State Department representatives, Washingtonâ€™s hosting GUAM-US conference in autumn this year. /APA/
