Baku hosts GUAM summit

Heads of GUAMâ€™s economic structures-energy, communication, transport, customs bodies have started meeting in the framework of the summit.
Law-enforcement officials of GUAM member states national security, interiors, emergencies ministers, prosecutor generals, chiefs of border services will also meet. The meeting of heads of GUAM humanitarian structures-education, culture, tourism, youths and sport as well as Academy of Sciences will also be held today. GUAM Business Council has already gathered.
GUAM foreign ministers will meet in the second half of the day. Following this, the foreign ministers will negotiate with the US and Japan representatives on prospects of cooperation with the organization.
The heads of GUAM member states are intended to have private meeting in Baku also in the second half of the day.
The main summit of GUAM and ceremony of signing documents will be held on Tuesday. /APA/
