Turkish Worldâ€™s Youth Conference to be held in Macedonia

Macedonia is to host the conference of Turkish Worldâ€™s Youth Conference. Traditional conference and Days of Turkish Worldâ€™s Youth will take place in Ohrid , Macedonia in August, 2007, APA reports. Youth Forum of Turkish Democratic Party of Macedonia will hold the 13th conference. 200 delegates from 43 organizations represented Turkish population inhabited regions of the world will take part at the conference. Orhan Pamuk visited Scopje last week to finish preparations for the meeting of â€œTurk Ocaklariâ€ to be held in Macedonia. Enes Ibrahim, chairman of Turkish Democratic Party of Macedonia Youth Forum said the candidature of Macedonia for meeting was concretized and it is of great importance. According to the latest evaluations Macedonia has 80 thousand ethnic Turks of 2 million populations and this ethnic minority is represented with only two MPs.
Turk ocaklari was founded in 1912 and organized Turkish world conferences in Turkey, Northern Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Chuvashiya and Tataristan since 1992./APA/
