YAP (New Azerbaijan Party) held a presentation of the book by Turkish researcher Huseyn Adiguzel “Zirve†(Peak) devoted to the then President Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
YAP leadership, parliamentarians, representatives of political parties and intelligentsia participated in the ceremony.
Director of National Academy of Sciences History Institute Yagub Mahmudov spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s life and activity. He said that Azerbaijan became the leader in the South Caucasus and a number of international projects were implemented after Heydar Aliyev returned to power.
Parliamentarian Nizami Khudiyev gave information about the book.
Former parliamentarian Shahlar Askarov and others spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s political activity.
The author Huseyn Adiguzel said he made long investigations and gathered materials about Heydar Aliyev.
The book was published by editorship of parliamentarian Mubariz Gurbanli and reference of YAP deputy chief Ali Ahmadov in Turkey. /APA/
