Impostor pretending himself as National Security Ministry officer detained

A man appealed to National security Ministry saying that a man called Alim Mahmudov blackmailed him and demanded $ 5,000. It became known that Asif Ismayilov and several others told the man that they have evidences which will sentence him to 11 years in jail. Asif Ismayilov said that an operation group is ready to arrest him, but if he agrees to give him $ 5,000 he will annihilate the documents. The man understood that Asif Ismayiklov blackmails him and promised to give him $ 4,000 in order to win time. The latter agreed to it.
Following this, the man appealed to the Security Ministry.
A special group was set up to detain him.
Asif Ismayilov was taken in the act on May 29.
Criminal case has been launched on articles 182.3.1 and 182.3.2 (demanding money by threatening) and 310 (misappropriation of an officialâ€™s authorities) of the Criminal Code.
It is supposed that Asif Ismayilov committed more crimes. Those who suffered from his illegal actions are asked to contact National Security Ministry (tel: 405 99 99). /APA/
