Elmar Mammadyarov rejected the statements by Armenian media that the central issue of discussions at the Presidents’ [Azerbaijani and Armenian] meeting in St Petersburg will be the status of Nagorno Karabakh and said that this approach contradicts basic principles on the settlement of the conflict.
“The main themes of discussions are withdrawal of troops from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, deploying peacekeeping forces, restoration of contacts and returning of IDPs to their motherland,†he said. /APA/
