Ziyafet Asgerov: Russia can rent radar station to a third country after agreeing with Azerbaijan

The commission chief said that Azerbaijan and Russia concluded an agreement on the status of Gabala radar station (Daryal Analytic Information Center), principles and terms of its use in Moscow in 2002.
The agreement was ratified in March 2002. Ziyafet Asgerov noted that according to the forth clause of the agreement, Russia can rent this station to a third country by Azerbaijanâ€™s agreement.
First vice-speaker said that according to this agreement, Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and coordinated the issue.
â€œRussia has no right to sign an agreement on Gabala radar station with a third country. We have leased the radar station to Russia for a ten year term,â€ he said. /APA/
