Elmar Mammadyarov receives British House of Commons members

Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received members of foreign relations Committee of the British parliament.
Foreign Ministryâ€™s press center told APA the aim of the visit of the parliament members is to study issues of global energy security and political situation of regional states.
They emphasized Azerbaijan holds specific and significant place in the region. MPs took an interest in the Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policy principles, its role in energy security, relations with neighbor states and negotiations for the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem.
Elmar Mammadyarov said Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policy conception will base on the national security conception which has recently been signed by Azerbaijani President. Emphasizing that integration into Euro-Atlantic structures is one of the priorities the minister informed the visitor of the countryâ€™s energy policy and regional projects.
The minister touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict stressing that it holds the most significant place in the policy of Azerbaijan. /APA/
