Kepenekchi village residents hold protest action

Residents of Kepenekchi village of Marneuli region populated by Azerbaijanis held a protest action in front of the office of Kartli regional authority in Rustavi, APAâ€™s Georgia bureau reports.
The protesters demanded restoring water supply to the village and wanted to meet with Governor Zurab Melikishvili. The residents said though they pay water bills they have not been able to access to water for 13 days. As a result of it, some children caught infectious diseases.
Director of SC Rustaviwater said that 15 villages of Marneuli owe $ 8800. /APA/
