Halvdan Skard: The meeting will be held on work of associations of local authorities in Azerbaijan in autumn

The meeting is to be held on the activity of associations of Azerbaijan cities, settlements and villages established in last December on the recommendation of Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe. President of the Local Chamber of Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe Halvdan Skard told the journalists, APA correspondent to Strasbourg reports. He said three associations were established in Azerbaijan on the will of municipalities and congress did not protest it. According to president of Congress there are other countries which also have associations more than one. Skard spoke about the issues which have been put to the agenda of Congress session to be held tomorrow and informed on the responsibilities of local authorities on climate change, health service of population in the regions./APA/
