Sardar Jalaloghlu, chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Organizing Committee for Conference told APA the postponement of signing of agreement is because of new alliance. Sardar Jalaloghlu said the agreement will be signed in the following days. As to Azadlig bloc’s position Sardar Jalaloghlu said it is the result of personal interests. “This decision shows that individual interest prevails over common interests. They have different interests from national interest. In the foreign countries, sometimes democratic opposition agrees with armed opposition. But Azerbaijan has very individualized society but I think this initiative will be advanced,†he said.
According to him, Isa Gambar, Eldar Namazov, Chingiz Dairoghlu, Etibar Mammadov held a joint meeting at the headquarters of Musavat Party. Araz Alizada also joined the meeting. “We think we will be able to establish alliance as participants of the meting accepts each one. We do not think to expand the alliance. But it should be better to make left, centrist and right wing oppositionists participate in the alliance.â€/APA/
